It's Hot
Sitting in a chair I snapped a photo when Aaron was being held by his Dad. I love the shot and the colors the camera shows. The awning above seemed a different color when under it. Only when I reviewed the image did I see the background. Aaron is hanging out on the this warm Sunday after his baptism. God Bless you and I can't wait for the years to come.

Walnuts and Rice-8
Hard at work. My friend Mike has always been so helpful in taking my little projects and making them reality. Butcher block for the wine fridge and now baby announcements. This photo is at the Walnuts and Rice Print Shop printing the birth announcements for Louis. More shots of those to come once we make sure the family has them in their hands. I don't want to spoil the surprise; letterpress is so awesome. Art and machinery colliding through the plate and computer. I was able to stand in his way and be an extra set of hands. I knew that I wasn't going to be too much help, so I grabbed the camera and started shooting.

Frosted
Our local cupcakery that has some of the best cupcakes I have ever had. I snapped this when Mary and I stopped. The Red Velvet Ice Cream Cupcake. WOW.
So I have dug out of the box of retired electronics my first Sony Point and Shoot. I am having much better luck with image quality. I am putting it through its paces and will see if it ends up as the goto point and shoot.

Welcome Autumn

What I love when I get home and find what I really like about a photo isn't what I was orginally shooting for. While focusing and almost laying on the ground to show how low this lead sled is. A beach cruiser passer by ends up in the shot. I love it.

Savannah
The Daily Photo has taken my photography to new levels. But today I was able to help a friend and co-workers family. This is Pat's Great Grand Daughter Savannah she was born August 27th,2009 at 3 lbs. 5 oz. and is in the NICU. She is so strong. I hope and pray for the best for the family. What a great afternoon taking photos of all beauty this one has to offer.

Kindness
Today I was helping a man who was walking and lost in need of directions. While helping the young man out Becky in my office overheard he was walking and went to the freezer and gave him a popsicle. What an amazing gesture of kindness. We watched desperation wash away from his face as he prepare for his walk. This was a great ending to my work day now home to my family.
